How do I log in?
Press the blue Login button at the top, pick Student or Teacher, search for your name and type your 10 digit password. Your teacher gave it to you. Forgot it? Ask your teacher.
How do I earn V Coins?
Answer questions in Practice & Study. A normal question pays 2 to 3 V Coins for every right answer. About 30% of questions are BONUS questions that pay 5 to 10 coins. About 5% are MEGA questions that pay 30 to 75 coins. You also get 100 free coins the first time you log in, and bonus coins for finishing lessons: 50 at 2 lessons, 100 at 5, 300 at 20 and 500 at 50.
How does the class get XP?
Your teacher gives the whole class XP, for example for great work or good behavior. The class bar stops at 500. When it reaches 500 your class earns the reward your teacher picked, like Fun Friday, a class prize or Game Day.
What is a streak?
A streak counts your right answers in a row. Get one wrong and it starts over. Your best streak is saved. Hit 5, 10 and 15 in a row for a shout out.
Why do I have to wait after a wrong answer?
After a wrong answer you wait 3 seconds before the next question, so you can read the right answer. Wrong answers do not earn coins.
What is the Game Room?
You pay V Coins for play time. It costs 30 coins every minute, so 1 minute is 30, 5 minutes is 150 and 10 minutes is 300. Or choose your own time up to 30 minutes. You see the price before you pay, and the clock only starts when you press Play.
What are periods?
The school day has 9 periods. Mr V teaches periods 3, 4, 6 and 8. Open the Periods tab to see who is in each one.
How do assignments work?
Open Practice & Study and press Assignments. Your teacher posts the work there. You can comment so the whole class sees it, or send a private comment to a teacher.
How do I change my profile?
After you log in, the site asks for your birth year and birthday to unlock your profile. Then you can add a picture, pick a color and badge, and write a status.
Why is a tab locked?
Practice & Study and Dates open after you log in. A teacher can also lock some tabs for the whole class or for one student for a while.
What happens if I get suspended or banned?
A teacher can suspend or ban an account for a set time, with a reason. A suspension locks most tabs. If your teacher allows it you can still use Practice & Study, but you earn no coins. A ban shows a full screen message until it ends.
How do notifications work?
Messages pop up at the bottom left after you log in. The bell and the Notifications tab keep your history, and you can delete messages or clear them all. You can change how pop-ups look in Settings.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The site works on phones, tablets and computers.
